日中は暖かく、桜の花もチラホラ。

ウグイスが鳴き、ツバメが飛び交い、夜席に向かう廊下ではもうカエルの声が。

今夜より春季彼岸会。

御講師は安浦町信楽寺 広幡康祐師。

I see trees of green, red roses too.

The colors of the rainbow, So pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces, Of people going by,

They’re really saying, “I love you”.

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow,
They’ll learn much more, Than I’ll ever know.

緑の木々に赤いバラ、青い空に白い雲、当たり前のことが当たり前に存在する。

それが「何て素晴らしい世界なんだ」と。

とっても素敵なこの歌は、ベトナム戦争への嘆きから生まれ、差別に対する悲しみから歌われたのだそう。

『阿弥陀経』に説かれる「青色青光黄色黄光赤色赤光白色白光微妙香潔」。

お浄土は、何でもかんでも金ピカでなく、あるがままの姿が尊いことを示してくださる。

尊いからこそ光り輝いている姿を、金ピカで表現しているのだなぁ。

それぞれにそれぞれの色で輝いて。
